CENTURY CITY MALL’S $1B MAKEOVER: LA’S NEW GO-TO SHOPPING MECCA
After nearly two years of construction, the long-awaited Century City Mall’s $1 Billion makeover is finally complete - it’s truly unlike any other shopping experience in the Los Angeles metro area. Boasting over 200 boutiques, department stores, restaurants, and entertainment options, including a new three-level Nordstrom, remodeled Bloomingdale’s, and Equinox fitness center - this is the lifestyle destination Century City has been waiting for.
Now, about a month after the ribbon cutting ceremony, the majority of the boutiques and amenities are in full swing, with a few remaining stores targeting launch dates in the next few months.
The mall is truly a feast for all the senses - the modern, high-end yet inviting aesthetic appeals to the city’s refined sensibilities. It completely redefines what a mall/lifestyle center can be, and more.
The list of features goes on to include more than double the parking capacity (including a parking reservation option), an Uber lounge, outdoor plazas, fire pits, and art and photography featured throughout (in partnership with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Annenberg Space for Photography as well as other venues).
For the mall’s notable visitors, the Century City Westfield Mall provides VIP elevators to accommodate celebrities, and special guests. The mall also offers a Studio Services department, designed to connect retailers with stylists and costumers in the film, music and entertainment industries.
